On Nythe pool a female Mallard was enjoying the open water with 4 newly hatched ducklings. also on the pool 4 Moorhen and in the hedgerow Speckled Wood and Comma butterflies.
In the back garden today a Holly Blue, Large White and Peacock butterflies. On the pond two very small flies chasing each other around and on the rocks a spider which looks like a small Eratigena atrica

Possibly Eratigena atrica. Just seems to be a bit small though at just 2cm long
