Millets Falconry Centre
The falconry is the largest bird of prey centre in Oxfordshire and you better believe it. It really is large and it holds over 70 birds of prey from African White-faced Scops Owls to Steppe Eagles. It's owned and run by Sharon and James Channon, and James's first bird was a Harris's Hawk and this will not come as a surprise, but he named it "No. 1". This year James took on Luke Mammert a young lad who has loads of enthusiasm and between them they gave us a fantastic display of falconry skills, and opportunities to get up and personal with many birds, including "Optimus" a 2 week old African White-faced Scops Owl.
