A Cold Night
The moth trap went out last night and for a more accurate reading I placed the outdoor thermometer right next to it. What a chilly night with temperature dropping to a cool 1°C, so wasn't expecting a great deal and the count of 3 moths wasn't surprising. However one of them was a first for the year a Brimstone Moth. The other two were Common Quaker and an Early Grey.
